Learn as if you were going to live forever.
Live as if you were going to die tomorrow.

Mahatma Gandhi

This memorial site was created out of all the love I have for Amanda. I wanted to do something very special for Amanda; so I put this memorial website together so Amanda's memory would live on forever.  Our dearest Amanda J. Middleton you will live forever in our memories and hearts never to be forgotten. Heroes come in many forms! There can be no greater gift than the giving of oneself so that others can have a chance at a better life. Amanda lived life and she gave life; she truely is a hero for many!!!

Amanda this website is for you.... It will live, breathe and grow just as your spirit will in all of us. It is a permanent memorial and testimony to your earthly life, so that all your family, friends, and people you have touched can read and post their own memories of you. May your flame burn for eternity in Heaven and in our hearts. May you fly high with the angels and may your warmth and beauty shine down on all of us. Your beauty was so radiant, your voice so lovely, filled us all with love and strength.

Our Amanda one of a kind,
no one can fill this empty
void. Our inspiration is now
but a memory and cherished in
our hearts. She's always been
a part of us, creating treasured
memories tucked deep within our
hearts. She has truly taught us
what love really means.

We all miss her so much and would
give anything if for just one more
second to tell her how much she meant
to us and how blessed we were to be
a part of her life.

Losing Amanda has yet to get any easier.
She's our first thought in the bright early mornings,
our last thought just before closing
our eyes to rest our minds.

Amanda was driving north on I-85 about 7:45 Tuesday morning when her 2000 Nissan Xterra drove off the right side of the road possibly falling asleep at the wheel after pulling 6 - 12 hour shifts at St. Francis Hospital. She overcorrected toward the median, her vehicle flipped, causing it to go over the cable barrier and land in the southbound lanes.

We encourage everyone that would like to post a tribute in honor of Amanda to do so. Visit http://www.donormemorial.org/tributes/ to create your tribute today.

I said "God, it hurts so much!"

And God said, " I know."
I said, "God, I cry a lot."
And God said, "That is why I gave you friends."
I said, "God, I am so depressed."
And God said, "That is why I gave you loved ones."
I said,"God, MY loved one died."
And GOD SAID, "SO DID MINE."
I said "God, it is such a loss."
And God said, "I saw MINE nailed to a cross."
I said, "God, but your loved one lives."
And God said, "So does yours."
I said, "God, where are they now?"
And God said, "Mine is on my right and yours is in the light."
I said, "God, it hurts."
and God said, "I know."
